EXECUTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES IN IMPLEMENTING QUALITY SYSTEMS
In order to successfully facilitate the implementation of the quality system, Management need to be aware of the structure, intent and benefits of ISO 17025 and/or ISO 9000. They also need to know exactly what is required of them during the implementation and maintenance of the laboratory quality system.

The Laboratory Management will gain an understanding of ISO 17025 and/or ISO 9000, and how it relates to the current NATA Requirements for Registration and the current Medical Testing requirements. They will also review their responsibilities in the implementation and maintenance of the laboratory quality system, in order to lead the process.Content:
Through group activities and individual participation, the laboratory management team will gain skills to communicate the structure intent and benefits of ISO 17025 and/or ISO 9000. They will review what is required to successfully support and facilitate the ISO 17025 and/or ISO 9000 implementation process. They will also review their responsibilities as set out in ISO 17025 and/or ISO 9000.Format: 1 x 4 hour session
